Fell View is a small Bed & Breakfast run by Peter & Jeanette Brierley in Ambleside in the heart of the English Lake District National Park. Fell View is an ideal place to base your stay wether it be a short week-end or mid-week break. Maybe even something more adventurous. You can enjoy a relaxing few days away from the hustle & bustle of your hectic everyday life. You can enjoy some of the most stunning scenery on the planet within a few minutes walk from our door step at Fell View. Ambleside is a thriving small community with some of the most spectucular scenery on it's doorstep. You can enjoy everything from a leisurley stroll through Rothay Park to a gentle walk up Loughrigg Fell or Stockghyll Waterfalls. Something a little more energetic you could try Wansfell Pike or Fairfield Horseshoe. These are all within easy walking distance of Fell View along with many other walks all within easy access. Whether you will be walking or sight seeing there is plenty to do in and around Ambleside and our surrounding areas.
Lake Windermere is 10 minutes walk from our doorstep where you could enjoy drink in one of the cafes at Waterhead bay or have a relaxing boat trip over to Bowness and other areas around the lake.
Peter & Jeanette have worked hard to turn their Bed & Breakfast into a AA 3 gold star rating. We will endeavour to make your stay as enjoyable as possible while providing a relaxing atmosphere for you to rest yourselves after exploring our wonderfull part of the world.
